Harvest Celebration

Next week we will be holding our harvest festival celebrations within school with the children. We will be supporting Birmingham City Mission again this year so are asking for food donations to be brought into school by Friday 14th October. Please see the letter below for more detail about this event.

For more information on Birmingham City Mission and items to donate see their website (link below).

Monday 10th October 2022

Monday 10th October is World Mental Health Day! The children are encouraged to wear something ‘colourful’ to school for this day. This should ideally be something they can change into/ out of easily as we will also be swimming on this day.

Monday 10th October marks the start of the two weeks that Year 3 children will be going swimming in the afternoons. During these two weeks, the children should bring a swimming bag to school with them in the morning. This should contain a swimming towel and a swimming costume (no bikinis) or swimming trunks. Long hair must be tied back and jewellery removed. We will be back in time for the normal collection time of 3.15pm at the end of the day or for the children to attend any afterschool clubs pre-booked, and an additional snack will not be needed as we will be going after lunch.
